Volcanic No Show

Patrick Kiss Patrick Kiss

Even if you plan your roadshows and conferences months in advance you are not immune against vis major such as eruptions of a volcano.

2010 it was Eyjafjallajökull in Iceland which erupted from April until October and influenced the air travel in Europe for weeks.

This year another Icelandic volcano disturbs (not only) the roadshow activities of many European companies: Grímsvötn.

German Air Traffic Services (DFS) issued yesterday night a restriction on flights for the airspace over northern Germany. No aircraft is permitted to take off or land from May 25th 6:00 AM onwards. The Hamburg Airport (HAM) was closed and we had no chance to attend the "Kempen & Co. European Property Seminar" in Amsterdam today.

We are very sorry that we miss this excellent opportunity to meet investors from all over the world. At the moment, we don't know if we will be able to realise the tours to Scandinavia (Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Helsinki) which we planned for next week.

Hopefully there will be enough other chances to meet with us, just in case. May you have a look on our financial calendar.
