Gdansk/Hamburg, 29 November 2007 – Galeria Baltycka, Gdansk, received two main prizes in CIJ Awards 2007 competition, organized by the Construction & Investment Journal. Galeria Baltycka was awarded in two categories: for the best shopping center development and the best overall development of the year 2007 in Poland. The prizes went to the projects that had been recognized as outstanding achievements in the real estate development in Poland. The shopping gallery was opened on October 4, 2007 and was realised by Deutsche EuroShop and ECE Group.

The jury assessed the success of Galeria Baltycka in creating a true destination, the high quality of tenant mix, attractive architectural design and convenient ways of access to the center. The criteria for the prize for the best overall development, also won by Galeria Baltycka, included a genuine commitment to excellence, bringing something new to the market and the community as well as the quality which will stand the test of time.

CIJ Awards competition is organized by Construction & Investment Journal, one of the leading real estate magazines in Central and Eastern Europe. The prizes in Poland were granted for the sixth time, this year in eight categories. Each award is voted for by an independent jury who are the leading experts in real estate industry.
